Today I went on a small trip to Montgomery to photograph a 22-acre Greek inspired garden. I know, that sounds ridiculous but it was actually quite an experience.
I was greeted by the lady that runs the gardens and she gave me a private tour and told me the lovely story about how her family acquired the land from a widow in her 80s.
In the garden are beautiful Greek inspired statues and even a replica of the Temple of Hera. The only one in the world I might add. The flowers were beautiful! (I would post photos of this intriguing place but I can't. Sorry.)
It was 90 degrees today though which made it a bit miserable at times since it took me 4 hours to photograph the gardens after the tour. I was one stinky woman when I got done.
I drove back to Birmingham and picked up some Chick-fil-A on the way home. Dave was home when I got there and while I got caught up on e-mails and stuff he took a small nap.
I made meatloaf for dinner. It was yummy.
Goodnight!
