Whew! This week flew by but I am so thankful it's Friday.
Work consisted of a few shots in the studio and editing a few photos before I left around noon. That's what I love about Fridays... if I don't have a long shoot, we get off a noon! A whole afternoon becomes very valuable once you start working full-time.
So how did I spend my afternoon? Antique and thrift store shopping of course! One of my favorite things to do! *sigh* I had fun and found some great treasures.
A cute table that needs a little TLC for $4. Pictures to follow.
A big baskets for blankets that I am planning on painting a fun color for $2.

And, some cute retro hula girl glasses. My mother-in-law is having a luau party for my aunt down the road and for $3 they were too cute to pass up. I think they would be cute with some sand in them just below the hula girls' feet and a tealight. Adorable!

I returned home after that and Dave and I ate some dinner. He worked on the deck while I took care of some things around the house.
We both thought it felt like a Saturday and that is the best feeling. Then you realize it's not and have a whole extra day to wrap your head around.
Speaking of Saturday. We are going to make progress this weekend! The Dunlap's are through with chaos known as our kitchen walls and we finally have time to do something about it.
It's going to be great!
Sarah
