I have been blessed to have been a part of 5 of those years.
We spent dinner with his dad and step-mom and Gran at Firebirds. Dave loves their hamburgers so that's why I suggested it. He had the prime rib.

It was nice to have some good quality family time. Dave's dad had a surprise waiting outside. A new wheelbarrow! Yippee! Now I can haul Dave to the car the next time he cuts his leg with the chainsaw! Thanks Paul! ;)
No really, you know you are getting grown up when your husband considers a wheelbarrow a want rather than a need.
After dinner we came home and Dave opened up the new Bible I got him. He's been carrying around a student bible that has seen better days so I figured it was time for a new one. He loved it and I smiled.
We watched DVR recordings and then we headed off to bed.
It was a nice Dave day.
